donuts made at home....

Today is a short day of work. I have my lunch at home. Then watch TV whole afternoon. Then my mouth want snacks of course.myby watermelon?hahaha.so decided to make donuts…like circle donut….just a basic home made donuts.

i put powdered sugar...

this is what you needs:

    1/2 cup buttermilk
    1 large egg
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
   2 cups all purpose flour @ more for rolling
   1/2 cup sugar
   4 1/2 tablespoons of butter(unsalted at room temp.)
   2 teaspoons baking powder
  1/4 teaspoon baking soda
   1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  1/2 teaspoon salt
   powdered sugar for dushting when cool
 canola oil for deep drying or you can baked it too.



combined the dry ingredients..nutmeg,baking soda,baking powder,sugar,flour,salt and butter.
then separe bowl...buttermilk,egg,vanilla extract,

mix the dry ingredients hand mixture until looks sandy...then add the wet ingredients about 20 seconds...then form it like a pingpong ball.and fry.

banana cake:)

look at my banana cake yummmy...........................ice cream in the top to...but sorry i have no ice cream when i took this picture.



this is the ingredients:


                             3 sticks of butter(room temp.)
                              3 cups of flour...all purpose
                                1 teaspoon of baking soda
                               1 teaspoon fine salt
                               3 bananas ripe
                               2 1/2 CUP sugar
                               6 larges eggs
                               1 1/2 cup sour cream
                                1 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
                                 1 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

mix the dry ingredients together....then eggs,sour cream,vanilla.....mix the butter and sugar until fluffy...banana last.bake it 350 until brown or used a toothpick to check.if toothpick clear that's cook.


happy baking.u can made it yours by add a simple extra ingredient u want.

 i been watching a lot of food channel.i love this channel.i can watch food channel day and night.so for long time i bought this Cookie press set.but i never used it.sad right?

this is my first attempt to make cookie.

oh boy...but at the end my daugther like it.i need more learning,more try out.haahhaha:)

hello everyone,I'm back again.it's crazy been crazy this month.today i say home and try to make a card for my close friends daughter she is going to be 8 years old the end of the month.it feels like years goes so past.she is a very special little girl and a very sweet girl.it takes me one day to create a card for her but i love it.hope she will too.this is the finished product.

Girl scout thinking day 2012

Last Saturday we have our thinking day. This year our country is Bahamas. The kids do a good job of there swaps. They also made there masks. And their music instruments…they used all the recycled bottles and cow bells. We travel around the globe. Our first country we learn is are own(Bahamas)we travel around Asia, North America, South America,Europe,Africa,and more.then try some of their best food around the world. They have fun…fun…fun…day.
